- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Third year in a row we have returned to Highland Pines. By far, the best campground we have been to. The pools are always clean and the splash pads are great fun for the kids. One smaller playground and two awesome play structures, make this a place our kids ask to come to. For anyone who doesn't rate this place either a 4 or 5, you are either drunk or too young to appreciate a fabulous family campground.By Kevin Coutts, September 07, 2016
